Ahora presentamos una de mis rolas favoritas de una de mis bandas favoritas; se trata de «I love the dead» interpretada por Samael, es un cover del genial Alice Cooper, aunque en honor a la verdad debo decir que el cover superó por mucho la versión original.
Apareció en 1995 en el segundo EP de estos suizos, el EP se llama Rebellion.
Este tema procede del disco Million Dollar Baby de Alice Cooper, y fue grabado en 1973. Es el primer cover de Samael grabado desde 1987, y será el último hasta 2005.
El tema hace alusiones a la necrofilia.

Alice Cooper fue inicialmente el nombre de una banda de rock and roll, pionera del género conocido como shock rock. Surgida en 1964 en Arizona, Estados Unidos, logró su mayor auge durante los años setenta. Posteriormente, su líder continuaría como solista tomando el antiguo nombre de la banda, Alice Cooper, y moviéndose hasta nuestros días entre géneros tan dispares como el heavy metal (siendo considerado un relevante precursor de éste), la new wave o el pop rock, a lo largo de los ochenta y noventa, y retomando a principios de los años 2000 con álbumes como The Eyes of Alice Cooper el rock and roll y el hard rock de sus inicios. Ha aparecido en algunas películas como Wayne’s World. Él fue uno de los primeros en que fue utilizado el término «Heavy Metal»

En el año 2001 lanzó su albúm Dragontown donde retoma su sonido Hard, la 4a rola es la que les presentamos el día de hoy, una pieza pesada típica del Hard rock, excelente para mover la cabeza de un lado a otro como desquiciado jaja.
